Yin and Yang: The Two Powers |

In November our teaching revolves around the basic energies that make the World go around. The energies are the Yin and Yang of life, female and male powers. These two forces are visible everywhere in the human experience.
Whether we look at animals, objects, food or people, everything on this planet is made up of Yin and Yang thought particles, vibrating together to take form and create matter. Depending on the purpose of manifestation, objects, animals and humans take on different percentages of yin or yang energy.
For example, if you are born a male you are primarily made up of Yang thought particles, and if you are born a female you are primarily made up of Yin thought particles. Throughout your lifetime, you use this primary energy to create and respond to life experiences.
Separately Yin and Yang particles have limited creative power, but bonded together they are unlimited in creativity and manifestation. For example: imagine Yang energy to be a building block or brick, solid and material - yin energy is similar to the glue that holds the bricks together, light and sticky. Separately neither energy on it’s own could hold a building together, but when used together the building is solid and indestructible by most forces.
Understanding this explains why the male and female are driven to find a mate and relate to each other. It is through joining of the Yin and Yang energies that the human being can have the greatest power of creation in the material world.
Difficulty and confusion set in between the male and female when they lack understanding of their
basic energies and demand that the opposite sex think and respond like them. Currently in the human experience there is a strong push for men and women to be "equal." Think about it, can brick be equal to glue? No! They have different particles and different purposes in creation.
This desire to be "equal" is a misunderstanding in human thinking at this time. What the human experience is really striving for is that state of "oneness" with all creation and all things. For the truth of the human experience is to discover the self, discover the ONE. Yet, even as you discover the "one" and the connection to the divine, you must not forget that you are in a material third dimension ... where they are two energies, Yin and Yang.
Instead of men and women being in conflict trying to be "equal", each should go back to their basic energies and understand they were made to be complimentary to each other. When each can honor their gifts and energies, true bonding can occur and men and women can move out of war with one another and into their true power.
