 Maggie van Staveren, Ph.D. is a CA licensed psychotherapist, certified hypnotherapist, and IBRT certified past life regression therapist. She works at the Better Life Center in Berkeley as a therapist, provides Hypnotherapy Certification Training, teaches personal improvement classes and gives lectures on a variety of topics including Dreams, Developing One's Intuition and Business Principles. As a therapist she works with individuals and couples using a variety of techniques specializing in Past Life Regression Therapy.

Maggie also teaches at the Institute of Thought in San Diego in it's State approved Hypnotherapy training program.

Past-Board President of the International Association of Regression Research and Therapies, Inc. She also served on the IARRT Board in the capacity of Nominations/Ethics Chair, Conference Coordinator and Education Director. Maggie is a teacher for Levels 1 through 3 of the IARRT Past Life Regression Therapy Training program.

Maggie was born in The Netherlands and came to the United States with her family. Trained as an educator she taught children in Elementary, Middle, and Junior High schools in Michigan, Ohio and Utah. As a Social Worker and Therapist she has experience working with the elderly, with children and parents for custody evaluations, with persons who had substance abuse problems, and sex offenders, victims and their families. Maggie has also worked in a variety of medical settings in Utah and California
